Sweet Days of Summer

 

WOW!  Summer went by so quickly I had no time to work on my online business presence lol!  Between traveling all over the West US, spending time with family in Central Cali, and then flying to the midwest to visit more family, prepping for baby #2, etc etc etc, I felt that I had no time to work on the "business" aspect of photography.  It's a good thing I love to take pics lol, but a business needs some TLC too so that's what I plan on working on over the next month.  There will be new and exciting changes for Apricot Sun Photography and clients.

For now, here are a few of my fave pics from shoots I had this summer, at some of my favorite locations!  And now to move onto the fall/holiday season pics... sigh :)  A HUGE thank you to all my beautiful clients who let me take pics of them :)  It was so much fun to capture such cuteness and gorgeousness from these families and their kiddos!

OMG, close to my heart is this family, who has 2 boys, like I do.  Boy's tend to be harder to photograph because they just want to "play" and be silly.  It was so much fun hanging out with these guys, and I always feel so lucky to be able to capture a true smile.

Some notes on style:  note how they are wearing a colorful outfit choice, yet not all their colors are matching.  This is PERFECT, everyone gets to wear the best color that compliments them, and the colors all coordinate.

Taking maternity pictures is still something I have never done for myself.  But I LOVE doing it for other women hehe.

Wow, I am so behind on this blogging thing!  I have been so busy that I just wanted to close the laptop after editing haha.  So, here is a post of a sweet baby boy, 1 month new.  I was able to take prego pics of his momma, and now finally meet him and document their official first baby pics!
